Etcetera was her usuall bubbly self. She couldn't wait to get back into the swing of things in school. She was especially happy now because she was able to see her love, well, the one Cat she had a huge crush on, Rum Tum Tugger. "Oh I can hardly wait to see Tuggy again," she said to herself.
Tantomile was excited. She always liked school. She also couldn't wait to get back. She quickly got ready. "Come on, Cori, I hope you're getting ready," she called out to her brother.
Rum Tum Tugger was sitting on his bed without a shirt on, flipping through a magazine. He lived in his own apartment, and had since the end of last year. He had his own car as well; a red BMW ragtop convertable. His long hair was kind of messy, hanging in front of his face and skimming his muscular shoulders. Sighing, Tugger stood up and stretched. "Gotta get to school, I guess..." He muttered, moving around his messy bedroom to find a shirt. In ten minutes, Tugger had his stuff and was out the door.
Coricopat poked his head out of his bedroom, a lazy grin on his face. He yawned widely and laughed. "Of course I am, Tantomile. You know I'm just as excited to be back at school as you are." His black hair was messed up still, showing the fact that he hadn't brushed it yet, but he was fully dressed. He was wearing loosely fitted jeans and a blue t-shirt with a gold logo on it. He had a charm bracelet on that Tantomile had given him for their last birthday. He'd given her a necklace with matching charms.
Bombalurina woke with a start at the loud beeping of her alarm clock. She groaned and slapped it off with the palm of her hand. 'Great,' she thought as she wrestled her way out of the tangle of sheets. 'Another year of school.' At least it was her last. Mungojerrie whistled a jaunty tune as he packed his school books into his backpack. He didn't like school by any means, but it was pretty fun to graffiti on the lockers, desks and the doors of the toilet cubicles. Besides, at least at school he was able to spend all of his time with his best friend, Rumpleteazer. That reminded him, he was going to surprise her by turning up at her house so they could walk to school together. He grabbed an apple from his desk and left his house, heading towards Teazer's. Jemima had woken bright and early for the first day of school. She had already brushed her hair, packed her lunch and organised her books. She supposed she was a bit of a nerd for being so eager to return to school, but she didn't mind. Besides, at school she would be able to hang out with all of her friends.
Munkustrap slammed his paw down on his alarm clock to stop the annoying beep. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and dragged himself out of bed. He sleepily walked out of his room and banged on the door of the room next to his. "Guys...get up or you lose your ride to school." He yelled, chuckling softly when he heard the loud thud of one of his brothers falling out of bed. He hopped into the shower.
Pounce rubbed his rear end from when he fell off the top bunk. He threw a pillow at his laughing slightly-younger brother. "Shut up Ketty!" He yelled at him. "Munk really is gonna leave us if you don't hurry up." He warned, stepping into his jeans and putting on his new red t-shirt.
Carbucketty continued to laugh as he rolled out of bed and dressed. "Like mom would ever let him do that." He mused. "C'mon, let's go and get breakfast."
Rumpelteazer brushed her hair up into a high pony tail, inspecting it in the mirror. No, no good... She looked like a dweeb. She took the elastic out, runing her fingers through her hair to straighten it back out. What to do, what to do? Braids? Maybe one big one, on the side. No. Two of them? She glanced over at the clock, trying to guage it. No, she probably wouldn't have enough time to. Sighing, she picked up a headband, pushing it back in her hair. Yeah, that will work. It was enough to keep it off her hair. No doubt she'd end up playing with it more during the day, she tended to. But she shoudl get moving now. She didnt' want to be late on the first day of school. Every day after the first, she didnt' mind being late. But the first... You kind of had to be good. A little. Rumpelteazer picked up her zip up sweater off the foot of her bed, just incase it got cold or it was windy; and pushed it into her school bag. She hurried down the hall, stepping into her flat shoes, checking her jean pocket for money. There was a good five dollars in there, that would buy her lunch.
Mungojerrie had walked little more than five minutes when he reached Rumpleteazer's house. He supposed that was why they were such good friends, they lived close enough to visit no matter what time of day. He stepped up onto the porch to her house and knocked lightly on the door before standing back and waiting for it to open.
Rumpelteazer hurried to the door, putting her bag on her shoulder. It was probably the Milkman or something. Her face lit up; seeing Mungojerrie standing there instead. "Hey," she greeted brightly, stepping onto the porch; closing the door behind her. "You're ready before me. Surprise, surprise... "

"Hey Teaze," Mungo said, grinning at her joke. "Just thought you might need a little assistance gettin' to school on time." Not that they had ever gotten to school on time before. Griddlebone checked her make up in her rear-view mirror as she drove towards Jellicle High. She hadn't done it well in her rush to get all of her things organised, but it would pass for the day. She pulled up outside the school and got out, checking her watch as she did. There was still time for a coffee in the faculty lounge.
"I think we may need a race car going at full speed to get to school on time," she said, checking to make sure that the door was locked. "But I guess that walking with you might work," Rumpel said, heading down the steps. "If we leave now, that is"
Mistoffelees was excited. He got up as soon as his alarm went off, and got ready. He couldn't wait for school to start, and see his friends. He especially wanted to see Razzy. He wanted to ask her to go out with him this year.
Cettie got ready, and walked out the door. She walked fast so she could spot Tugger if he drove up. She was hoping to see him.
Tantomile was just about ready for school. She was going to start off the year on the right foot. "Are you almost ready Cori?" She asked her brother.
After the three boys finished their breakfast, they grabbed their things and headed toward Munk's car.
Pouce and Ketty were a little bouncy in the back seat, excited for their first day, but nervous as well. They were also extremely quiet.
Munkus glanced in the rear-view mirror every few minutes to make sure they were alright...having his brothers behaving was slightly nerve-wracking. He pulled into the school lot, parked in senior parking and turned off his car. "Alright guys...welcome to Jellicle High." He said with a grin.
"Well if you're ready, me lady, than we shall be off," Mungojerrie said, bowing to Teazer before beginning to walk down the path towards the highschool. Griddlebone eyed a car as it pulled into the car park. From what she could see, it was Munkustrap and his troublemaking brothers. She rolled her eyes and opened the door to the school, praying she wouldn't have any troublemakers in her classes. Jemima's nose was deep into her favourite book as she walked to school. She didn't live too far away, but she still preferred the entertainment books provided her. Bombalurina blasted her favourite song at twice the volume she would have normally preferred it played at as she drove to school. She was annoyed that she had to start waking up early again. She pulled up to Jellicle High and looked around for any sign of her best friend, Demeter.
Rumpelteazer couldn't help but grin; he could be so cute at times. And what would she give to really be 'his lady'. She walked after him, catching up before matching his walking pace. "So what are your big goal for this year? Are you hoping that you pass all your classes; that you vandalize everythign and get off scott free; that you get yourself a girlfirend....?"
Rum Tum Tugger drove into the school parking lot in his brand new, flashy red sportscar. He hopped out of it and smoothed down his hair. Leaning over, Tugger inspected himself in the mirror. "Heavyside, you are so fine Tugger." The tall Maine Coon tom turned and looked at the school. He reached into the back seat of his car and pulled his backpack out. "You are going to own the school." He smirked to himself, strutting towards the entrance.
Coricopat looked at Tantomile and grinned. "Of course I'm ready. I've been ready for awhile. Do you want to take my car? Or would you rather walk?" He asked his twin, leaning down to pick up his one-shoulder bag.
Bustopher Jones hummed quietly to himself as he pulled up to Jellicle High. He got out of his car and locked the doors. He spotted Griddlebone and walked over. "Good morning, Griddlebone," he said cheerily. "Looking forward to the new school year?"
Sillabub had walked to school, listening to her iPod and eating an apple on the way. Her books had been neatly placed in her backpack and she was eagar to get a good locker next to some nice cats.
Cassandra drove to school in the convertable her increadibly wealthy father had bought her for her birthday. Her hair flew in the wind and she bopped her head to the music she was playing. She pulled up outside Jellicle High, making sure to park her car next to Tugger's, and got out of her car. This year was her last, and she had to make it memorable.
Macavity woke to his radio alarm. It had been playing for several minutes, but only just begun a song he hadn't liked. He knocked it off his bedside table and it silenced. He yawned loudly and rolled out of bed. He threw on any random clothes he could find and shuffled out of his messy bedroom. He yawned again, and walked to the kitchen, opening the near empty fridge to search for anything edible. When he found nothing he groaned. He would just have to drive through a fastfood resturant before school.
Griddlebone looked over to Bustopher Jones and smiled. "As much as any normal cat should look forward to school," she said. "I'm just worrying about what students I'll be having. Do you ever get that?" Mungojerrie made a thoughtful humming noise. "I think passing my classes is a bit out there," he said. "Vandalising everything shouldn't be too hard, getting off scott free would be nice but probably unrealistic, and I don't know about a girlfriend." He was turned his head to grin at Rumpleteazer. "What about your goals? Are you looking for that special tom?"
It was more like 'looking at that special tom'. "I dunno... Maybe make it to school on time once a week. Pass classes for sure... and, you know, I wouldn't mind a tom friend..." she said, glancing over at him
Bustopher Jones nodded in understanding. "Troublesome students can be hard to deal with," he said. "But you can't give up on them. I find that the students with lower grades sometimes have the greatest potential."
Macavity sipped loudly at his McDonalds coffee as he drove to school. His car screeched loudly as he turned corners recklessly. When his coffee was empty, he threw the cup out of the window, hitting some random cat who was walking on the pathway. He finally made it to school, parking in a teacher's parking zone. He got out and saw Bombalurina. "Hey babes," he said, walking up to her and wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "Whatcha doing out so early?"
