Coricopat nodded his head and smiled. "Then let's go. Don't want to be late." He slung his bag across his shoulder and grinned at Tant. "Are you as excited as I am?"
Rum Tum Tugger was walking through the halls and stopped at his locker. He took his lock out of his backpack and started to arrange things inside his locker. The first thing to go up, of course, was his mirror. He checked his hair, and then the tall tom started to pile his books and such into his locker; arranging them in a specific order of smallest to biggest. "Let's go... down to the highway..." He sang to himself. Tugger flicked his hair out of his eyes as he danced in place a little.
"If you say so," Griddlebone said. She didn't believe a word Bustopher was saying, but as decided to agree with him. After all, he had been a teacher for longer. "How do you deal with bad students?" Bombalurina grimaced and pushed Macavity's arm off her shoulder. She liked Macavity, but she had promised herself not to get involved with him. She had seen the things he had done and didn't want to be a part of it."First off all my name's Bombalurina, not 'babes'," she said. "I'm looking for Demeter, but I guess she's not coming to school early like she usually does." "Sounds like you've got your life sorted," Mungo said, oblivious to her glance. "I s'pose if you're desperate for a tom I could try to hook you up with someone." Jemima only tore her eyes away from her book as she entered the school building. She walked to the halls until she reached her locker. She spun open the lock and opened it, shoving her backpack into the lower level. She opened her bag and started looking for the books she would need in her first lessons.
"Well, if I'm lucky I could try to get Rum Tum Tugger to ask you out," Mungojerrie said, readjusting his bag. "But I also have a few cousins who might be intrested. I'd hardly call them knights though."
Macavity grinned wickedly at her grimace. If she wanted to play hard to get that was her buisness. "Well, when you give up looking come chat with me, toots," he said winking at her.
"Bad students?" Bustopher asked. "Oh, well there are very few bad students at Jellicle High. If I do happen to get one though, I sit them at the front and send them to the principles office regularly."
"Tugger would only last a week at best," she told him. "You know how he works. And I don't know about cousins.... " she added uncertainally. "Like, what if I did date one of them and we broke up - things would be weird between you and I. I don't want to put you in the middle"
Griddlebone nodded. "I'll keep that in mind," she said. She looked down to her watch. "Do you want to join me inside for a coffee?" she asked. "True, true," Mungojerrie said. "Well, until I can find someone for you maybe we should just focus on our pranks."
