After Tantomile got Grizabella seateled down, she decided that she would go for a walk. She thought of what Tugger said to her. She thought those were the harshest words he had ever said to her. It hurt Tant that Tugger had said what he said to her. "I'm going for a short walk. I want to be alone for a while," said Tant. She disappeares into the shaddows on the Yard. When she disappeared, she heard something. She could scense that it wasn't Macavity. But she couldn't scense who it was. "Alright," Tant said harshly, "Come on out! I know Karati, and I will use it if I have to."
Coricopat couldn't help but let his lips curl up in a smile. "I know you know karate, Tantomile... I taught you most of it." He said, melting out of the shadows with a bemused expression on his slender face. There was a bit of a shadow in his sulphur-colored eyes, masking any other emotions from his sister.
"Oh, it's only you, Coricopat." Tant was relieved that it was her twin, but she wasn't exactly happy to see him. Goosebumps ran up her arms and sholders. She would never hurt Coricopat. She wouldn't even think about hurting him, or anyone else. She didn't know what else to say to her brother right at that moment. In a different situation, they would be talking about everything, telling each other secrets, and teasing each other playfully, like brother and sister. But they were in a somewhat awkward position with each other. Tantomile knew how much Coricopat didn't like Grizabella, and she knew how angry he had gotten with her for helping Griz. She could just look at Cori quietly.
Looking away from Tantomile, Coricopat started to move away from his twin. It was really awkward for him to see her, and he had tried to avoid her, but there was something like a string that seemed to keep pulling him back to her. He'd broken most of their connection, but they were permanently attached by a bond only twins could possess.
Coricopat's body froze, all the muslces tensing in his shoulder and arm. "I'm not sure what you mean..." He said very quietly. He didn't feel like talking. He didn't feel like there was anything he could say. Coricopat felt like Tantomile had betrayed him by helping Grizabella. "There's nothing to say anymore, Tantomile."
'Nothing to say anymore? You can't mean that. I...I didn't do anything wrong." Tant looked down at the ground. She was fighting back tears. She really wanted things to be right again with her beloved twin. "I love you Cori, and I know you love me too, but I couldn't just watch Grizabella limp, and be sick. She's really sick Cori and she needs help. And she's hurt too. I care too much for everyone." At that point, she didn't know what else to say.
